Eternal Death Dealer

This Painting was done by me as a painting assignment which entailed the completion of a "lost painting" by an established artist. Basically the idea was to create an original painting in the style of any one specific artist while trying to engage the audience with specific ongoing visual themes that the artist tended to use throughout the broader scope of their collective career's. The artist I chose was Frank Frazetta and the theme was that of a character he created called the "Death Dealer". Throughout his career he painted this particular character many times and my version stayed more or less true to his color scheme and brush stroke while placing the Death Dealer character in a different pose.
